All my life I have lived in Fairfax; for me the world begins with it and ends with it. I was born in this city, and spent my whole childhood in here. Though I am an accountant graduate but never felt the need to go out of the city for a better living as I was too attached to this city. During my high school days I met Sam; we fell in love and later got married. We bought a house, a duplex actually here at Fairfax, from the Fairfax realtors, I still remembered how we saved money to buy the property, but we knew that our money was in safe hands and that we won’t be cheated. Sam bought me the house as a gift on our fifth anniversary, and said that, he wanted to grow old with me in this heaven that we have made for ourselves.
Fairfax realtors seriously got us the best deal; it had a huge lawn in front of the house where the kids spent the whole evening playing, digging mud and building fancy creatures. We and Sam would sit there and enjoy them grow each day, on summer mornings we would sit outside enjoying the sun and have our morning tea. We will always be very grateful to the Fairfax realtors because they got us the best house on the block; we never had to spend much on the maintenance of the house, much like our neighbors. It was only when the kids would burst a pipe or makes a whole in the wall, was a repairer called. We had such wonderful memories of that house, the kids grew up and left for a better life in a different city, and I and Sam were left in the house to feed on all the memories that we have created over the years.
It was only last winter that Sam left me, he succumbed to the general illness of old age, and I was left in the house all by myself. Initially my sons wanted me to come and live with them, but I was adamant not to leave as all my Sam’s memories were in this house, but slowly these memories began to take its toll on me and I had nothing else to do but put the house on sale. Who else could do the work for me better than Fairfax realtors, who understood the value of the house, and as expected I got a great deal. Today for the first time I am going to step a foot out of Fairfax, and go on a cruise and later will return to my kids who are all that Sam and I cherished the most.
